XXXIX National Congress on Magnetic Resonance
Abstracts
The deadline for abstract submission is June 30, 2009. One-page abstracts (in Word format) must be sent via e-mail to: palermo2009@gidrm.org. Please specify if you prefer oral or poster communications. You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by July 31, 2009. Please, download the abstract template (in word or open office format) and follow the style therein for your abstract.
Oral Communications
Scientific contributions can be presented as oral communications (20 or 30 minutes including discussions). Even though the use of italian language is allowed, participants are strongly encouraged to give oral communications in english.
Posters
Posters must be written in english. The poster size cannot exceed 80 cm of width by 100 cm of height.
Poster Contest
All posters presented by young researchers (under 35) are eligible to take part in our poster contest. The posters will be judged by a committee composed of some of the foreign colleagues attending the congress. The presenting authors of the three posters deemed the best will win a monetary price.
Last year first prize winner was Maria Concistré from the University of Southampton who presented a poster entitled "Double-Quantum 13 C-NMR of Bathorhodopsin, the First Photointermediate in Mammalian Vision”. Second prize winner was Serena Zanzoni from the University of Verona for a poster entitled "NMR Solution Structure of the Supramolecular Adduct between a Liver Cytosolic Bile Acid Binding Protein and a Bile Acid-Based Gd(III)-Chelate, a Potential Hepatospecific MRI Contrast Agent". Third prize was awarded to Silvano Ellena from the University of Torino for a poster entitled "Hyperpolarization storage on deuterated molecules at different magnetic fields".
