NMR field cycling relaxometry is a robust technique widely utilized for investigating slow-motion dynamics across diverse molecular environments. Because relaxation rates are highly sensitive to both microscopic mobility and magnetic field intensity, the resulting NMRD profile (relaxation rate vs. field strength) acts as a unique signature of a system’s internal dynamics. This methodology is essential for analyzing MRI contrast agents, liquid crystals, polymers, and porous media, as well as food science and nanostructured materials. The workshop is designed to cover fundamental theoretical principles, modern instrumentation, and a broad spectrum of practical applications.
Event date: 22nd September 2026 (09:15 – 16:00)
Official language of the workshop: Italian
The event will take place at the:
By train: Alessandria station – 20 min walk or 5 min by bus Line AC of Line 4. During peak hours, buses run at approximately 20-minute intervals. Ticket available on the bus, at the Tobacconist at the station and online https://www.amagmobilita.it/trasporti-alessandria/orari-autobus-alessandria
