GIDRM Workshop “NMR Relaxometry: from Theory to Applications”
NMR field cycling relaxometry is a robust technique widely utilized for investigating slow-motion dynamics across diverse molecular environments. Because relaxation rates are highly sensitive to both microscopic mobility and magnetic field intensity, the resulting NMRD profile (relaxation rate vs. field strength) acts as a unique signature of a system's internal dynamics. This methodology is essential for analyzing MRI contrast agents, liquid crystals, polymers, and porous media, as well as food science and nanostructured materials. The workshop is designed to cover fundamental theoretical principles, modern instrumentation, and a broad spectrum of practical applications.
