We are present with an article on the journal “Chemistry International”, (April-June 2023) about our 1st Italian-French Conference on Magnetic Resonance held in Milan in 2022.

Chemistry International (CI) is the newsmagazine of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). News about IUPAC, its chemists, publications, recommendations, conferences and the work of its Divisions and Committees along with special feature articles is published quarterly in CI.

How to reach us by plane, train, surface lines, subway or car.
The Department of Biotechnology and Biosciences of the University of Milan-Bicocca is located in the north-east of Milan, in an area between Viale Sarca and the Milano Greco Pirelli railway station.From the Porta Nuova train station you can walk to our Center (15 minutes) or take the metro, direction “Lingotto”, and get off at “Nizza” (2 stops).

To and from Milan Central Station there is also a direct shuttle (Travel Time: 25 minutes). It is possible to buy the ticket on the bus – without any surcharge applied and in all authorized retailers.

• Central Station and Pta Garibaldi are the final stations of TGV from Paris and Lyon.

The closest station to the University of Milan-Bicocca is Milano Greco Pirelli, served directly by the railway lines:

Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission is May 31, 2022 extended to 10 June

One page abstract (please use the Word or OpenDocument template provided) written in English must be sent by e-mail to: milano2022@gidrm.org .

Please specify in the message if you prefer a poster or an oral communication and send the Word or OpenDocument and NOT the .pdf file. Please name the file with your surname.

In the template, a list of keywords is provided. Please, select those ones are suitable for your contribution.

Please download the template (in Word or OpenDocument format) and follow the style therein in writing your abstract.

You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by June 15, 2022.

Oral Communications

Scientific contributions presented as oral communications must last a maximum of 20 minutes (15′ presentation followed by 5′ of questions). The official language of the meeting is English.

 


Posters

The language for posters is English.

Posters Preferred size: A1 (594 x 841 mm), maximum size: 700 mm width x 1000 mm height.

 


 

Poster Contest

All posters presented by early career researchers are eligible to take part in the Poster Contest. Posters will be judged by a committee composed by invited speakers (excluding those of Italian and French nationalities).

The winners of the Poster Contest will receive a prize and will present their posters as an oral communication of 10 minutes (7’ + 3’ dedicated to questions).

GIDRM Attendance Grants

A limited number of GIDRM attendance grants will be awarded to early careers researchers (students, PhD students and Post-Docs) after evaluation of the submitted documents.

If you are a student, PhD student or Post-doc researcher and want to apply for a GIDRM grant, please submit your abstract, your curriculum vitae and a presentation letter from your research supervisor before May 31th by e-mail to: milano2022@gidrm.org

GIDRM Grants will cover registration fee and accommodation expenses and are intended for regular GIDRM members that have subscribed the membership for 2022.

A limited number of GIDRM attendance grants will be awarded after evaluation of the submitted documents.

 


 

GERM Attendance Grants

GERM grants will cover the registration fee for early careers researchers (students, PhD students and Post-Docs).

If you want to apply for a GERM grant, please submit your abstract and your curriculum vitae before May 31th by e-mail to: milan2022@germ.asso.fr (note that this is a specific email address).

A limited number of early career attendance grants will be awarded after evaluation of the submitted documents. Details are also available on the GERM website

 


Cancellation and Refunds

Notification of cancellation must be sent to the congress e-mail address (milano2022@gidrm.org). If cancellation is made before 20 August 2022, 90% of the registration fee will be refunded.

No refund will be given for cancellation requests reaching the GIDRM/GERM after 20 August 2022. All refunds will be processed after the congress. Refund claims must include bank address and account number for money transfer.

Accommodation
Accommodation is NOT included in the registration fee. Participants are kindly invited to book their own hotel rooms.

IMPORTANT: to save money and benefit from the best prices, please book your accommodation in Milan as soon as you can.
