Abstracts

The deadline for abstract submission is May 31, 2023. The deadline for abstract submission (only for poster presentations) is the 20th of July.

One page abstract (please use the Word or OpenDocument template provided) written in English must be sent by e-mail to: roma2023@gidrm.org. Please specify in the message if you prefer a poster or an oral communication and send the Word or OpenDocument and NOT the pdf file. Please name the file only with your surname.

In the template, a list of keywords is provided. Please, select the ones that fit your contribution.

Please download the template (in Word or OpenDocument format) and follow the style therein in writing your abstract.

You will be notified of the acceptance of your contribution by June 20, 2023.

Oral Communications

Scientific contributions presented as oral communications must last a maximum of 20 minutes (15’ presentation followed by 5′ questions). The official language of the meeting is English.

Posters

The language for posters is English. Posters Preferred size: A1 (594 x 841 mm), maximum size: 700 mm width x 1000 mm height.

The winners of the Poster Contest will receive a prize and will present their posters as an oral communication of 10 minutes (7’ + 3’ dedicated to questions).

Poster Contest

All posters presented by students, PhD students, postdoc researchers are eligible to take part in the GIDRM poster contest.

The posters presented by young researchers who are entitled to an Attendance Grant are automatically part of the competition.

Posters will be judged by a committee composed by all foreign invited speakers.

Deadline

The early registration deadline is July 7th 2023 has been extended until 20th July 2023

Fee

 The registration fee, which includes coffee breaks, lunches and the social dinner, is:

It is possible to register for a single day at a cost € 110 for GIDRM members and of € 130 + IVA for non members.

Please note that to be entitled to pay the GIDRM member registration fee it is sufficient to subscribe the GIDRM membership for 2023.

To register to the congress, it is necessary to fill out the registration form and purchase the desired ticket at the link below by following three simple steps:

1. If you don’t have it yet, create your account on the new site www.gidrm.org, using the red button “Become a member” on the right (the account on the old site is no longer valid)
2. If you want to become a GIDRM member (if not or if you already are, go directly to step 3. go into your account (from the Membership Menu on the top toolbar or using the box on the right) and in the Membership/Membership account menu purchase the membership fee for 2023 (20 euros for under 28, 35 euros for all the others)
3. Go to Events (in the toolbar at the top), select the page dedicated to the GIDRM national congress and pay the fee by filling out the registration form. The registration fee can be paid by Credit Card or PayPal or Bank Transfer. In order to pay by bank transfer please contact the organizers at pagamenti@gidrm.org.

3X2 Offer

If 3 persons from the same Institution register for the conference, only 2 registration fees will be charged.

This offer cannot be used together with an Attendance Grant.

To apply for the offer, please send an email to: roma2023@gidrm.org with the name of the 2 persons who have already paid the fee; if the claim is validated you will receive a discount code to register the third person for free.

For GIDRM (Italian society) members who have the registration fee paid by their institution

Qualora la quota di registrazione a un evento venga pagata a seguito di emissione di fattura intestata all’Ente invece che direttamente dal Socio, è possibile applicare l’esenzione IVA su dichiarazione dell’Ente stesso. A questo scopo è necessario che l’Ente invii al GIDRM (pagamenti@gidrm.org) copia della dichiarazione di esenzione IVA ai sensi dell’art. 10 del D.P.R. n. 633 del 26.10.72 e successive modificazioni e integrazioni.

Attendance Grants

A limited number of Attendance Grants, two of which sponsored by Fondazione De Marco, will be available for early career researchers.

If you are a student, PhD student or postdoc and want to apply for a GIDRM grant, please submit your abstract, your curriculum vitae before May 31^th by e-mail to: roma2023@gidrm.org

GIDRM Grants will cover registration fee and accommodation expenses (accommodation will be booked by the organizers) and are intended for regular GIDRM members that have subscribed the membership for 2023.

The attendance grants will be awarded after evaluation of the submitted documents.

Cancellation and Refunds

Notification of cancellation must be sent to the congress e-mail address roma2023@gidrm.org ).

If cancellation is made before August 10 2023, 90% of the registration fee will be refunded.

No refund will be given for cancellation requests reaching the GIDRM after August 10, 2023.

All refunds will be processed after the congress. Refund claims must include bank address and account number for money transfer.
